The great thing about Avebury is that you actually get to go close to the rock circle and can even touch the rocks.
The circle of rocks is so big that you can't see the whole thing when you are walking around, but you can take a nice loop around the town.
And the rock circle literally goes through the town, which was (of course) adorable!
So pretty!
You can see the rocks forming a tiny part of the huge rock circle here...
It was such a beautiful place to visit. I would definitely recommend it.
