I'm so excited for the return of some of my TV favorites TONIGHT. I've always been a big fan of ABC Sunday nights. Even though Desperate Housewives is over, Once Upon a Time is still back. I fell in love with this show about fairytale character stuck in the real world. I'm very curious to see where they go with the show now that the big spell has been broken.
Does anyone else feel like this photo looks a lot like Keeping up the Kardashians promo photos? (minus the thunder storm)
ABC is also moving Revenge to Sunday nights, an excellent move in my opinion. I did watch Revenge, but primarily online. Now that it is added to ABC Sunday nights, I'll be watching on TV! It is a drama filled show about a daughter seeking retribution against the rich and powerful Hampton residents who framed and killed her dad.
I'm also intrigued by the new show 666 Park Avenue. Although, I really wished ABC picked a different title. Am I the only one who thinks it's super creepy to have that number in the name of a show? I mean I don't even want to type it on my computer again. I think they could have done something clever with 999 Park Avenue and have it flipped to show the real meaning or something. The title of the show really bugs me! I might still watch it, might... Will you be watching any of these shows on Sunday nights? Let me know what you think!

♥ National Coffee Day
Happy National Coffee Day!!!
It is one of the most popular beverages in the world and un-roasted coffee is one of the most traded agricultural commodities. So have a cup of joe to National Coffee Day.

At the movies ♥ The Campaign
Honestly, this is a movie I would have never gone to see. I didn't even know it existed! But my friend wanted to go and you know what? It was the perfect movie for a Friday evening. It was funny. Basically, a parody of the political campaign trail. It's pretty raunchy and at times very inappropriate. But it's exactly what it sets out to be. And you'll laugh a few times, you won't be able to help it.

Spotted ❤ Bartini
This is such a great place to go to happy hour, especially on Mondays when you can go all evening long. It definitely gets busy, but the food and drink specials are great. Check it out!

Spotted ♥ Blogging Meeting
We decided to meet up at our fave blogging meeting spot Bubble Bubble.
Sarah has monetized successful blogs! And in NEON :)
Our attendees:
Red Box It ♥ What to Expect When You're Expecting
Light, fluffy & fun. Definitely worth a Red Box rental. An all-star cast and lot of funny moments. What to expect when you're expecting is a fun spin on pregnancy (something I know absolutely nothing about). My friend who is actually pregnant said she didn't want to see Hollywood's version of pregnancy and set up unrealistic expectations. (I'm sure this is absolutely true.) But it's most definitely an entertaining movie!

Accessorize Me ♥ Draping dots
My new favorite necklace! It's bunches and bunches of little black dots on gold chains. LOVE. It's comfy to wear all day (not too heavy). It's available now at Forever 21 $9.80. I do believe it's all you need to take your look from drab to fab.

Spotted in LA ♥ TMZ tour
We are mean nice
(TMZ according to the tour guide, if you have ever watched the show this will make you lol)
The TMZ tour in hollywood was so much fun. It takes you to the see the hollywood hot spots. I got to see Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills and the Ivy. I was so surprised... the Ivy is tiny!!! I always see celeb photos having lunch at the Ivy and I imagined it to be a grand big place from all the photos. In actuality, it's just a tiny cafe restaurant. (So tiny I guess that I didn't actually get a photo... snaps)
The TMZ tour was led by a tour guide who is actually on the TMZ TV show, which is pretty cool. I don't watch enough to recognize her, but she was hilarious. AND I won a TMZ tee for answering a question right on the bus (see above).
We were on a celebrity safari
But unfortunately we didn't actually spot any. For celeb spotting, a later tour would be advised we did an earlier tour because we had lot of things to do! :)

Nail It ♥ Falling for Indigo
The nail salon lady asked if I was sure if I really wanted this deep Indigo...
And I love it! ♥♥♥ Ready for fall
You have a lot of choices in Vegas so I would recommend to pick another one.
Travelers Beware
Hands down the worst customer service ever! On my first stay, they put us in the wrong room. When we were moved to the second room it was not cleaned. There was hair in the bed!!! They clearly did not change the sheets before the next guest. Also, the bathroom had hair in the sink where some had shaved and they didn't clean that either. GROSS.
My second stay was even worse. I requested an ADA room for my mother who has mobility problems. We were not given an ADA room. The bathroom floor is very slick and she slipped and fell and hit her head and back. She still is sore more than a month later and the hotel has not done anything! I have contacted multiple people multiple times and they are completely unhelpful. A little bit of good will and customer service would have gone a long way, but Mandalay Bay had done absolutely nothing!
You have a lot of choices in Vegas so I would recommend to pick another one. The location isn't great, it's on the end of the strip far away from everything. It's a pretty hotel, but it's definitely not worth the AWFUL customer service. I'm writing this review because I'm so frustrated at the horrible customer service from Mandalay Bay. It's a luxury hotel, but don't expect good service. Stay somewhere else!
Mandalay Bay = AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
I'm just sounding off about Mandalay Bay... we stayed in August and I have been appalled by the terrible customer service we have received.

Spotted ♥ Pink Rose is not very sweet
I went to Pink Rose in Portland this evening. I think it's supposed to be a trendy/cute bar and lounge. The set up was a little cute, but the food and service were very lackluster. We did have a big group (by the way, they don't split checks - good thing I brought cash and they add a 20% tip for large groups). I ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms ($6 for three halves was ridiculous and I didn't even eat an entire one because they were so spicy and just generally un-tasty). I will say the Shaved Cabbage salad was delicious and I probably would have been happy if I just got the full size salad. Also, one person in our party waited an hour to get his chicken sandwich. I guess large groups are tricky... but still... Here is a photo of my less than impressive mushrooms.

Make & Take ♥ A new display
A much improved display at my second show... we were much more successful also. I'm looking for lots of shows to book during the holiday season (now - christmas). I already have a total of 7 lined up so I'm doing way better than last year. :) I'm going for smaller shows with a lower table fee so I shouldn't have to worry about selling enough to always break even and hopefully make some profit.
We found a shoe display at The Container Store that I'm using to display the hats. It's perfect and even spins. It's regularly priced $29.99. I also purchased some stacking bins to add some organization to my table. They are $5.99 each and super light weight to add some organization and more room for the display.
My friend Sarah and her mom Janet were also vendors! It's going to be a very busy Christmas season will all these bazaars. I'm excited! :)

♥ Quilt Show
My second show of the year...
Quilt show
Hillsboro First Baptist
177 NE Lincoln Ave
Hillsboro OR 97123
Sept 14 and Sept 15 9 am - 3 pm
There is a small fee for the quilt show, I think $3. But if you decide to visit and purchase something, we'll take the fee off your purchase. :)
And my set-up is much improved. Always room for improvement, but definitely more organized than last time. I think it helps that we have a bigger table.

Spotted ♥ X Factor's First Night
"I normally don't watch singing shows, but x factor is goooooood." This was the quote from my coworker who texted me after watching the show. He, of course, knew I would be watching.
It was the first night of X Factor with the new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. It definitely added a lot of spark and interest with the new judges. I was really bummed they got rid of Paula Abdul, but I can definitely see how the new personalities add a lot to the show. The show just needed the judges to have more personality and Nicole Scherzinger certainly wasn't bringing it. (I personally think Paula is all personality, but I'll let it go...)
Okay, so my friend Warren and I went to the X Factor try outs in San Francisco and while I sadly did not see our little faces in the crowds outdoors I did see someone I recognized...

Wedding Dress Guy!!!
He was right beside us in line during the X Factor try outs. And I have been waiting for quite a while to see someone at the tryouts make it on the show. I honestly DID NOT think it would be him. But lesson learned, it's all about the outfit folks!

Make & Take ❤ Halloween-tastic Card
My first HALLOWEEN craft. This is an accordion style card decorated with lots of scary critters! I think it's too pretty to mail. So it's going to decorate my desk. :)

Spotted ❤ Minnie Ears
The happiest place on earth... DISNEYLAND
My goal for this trip was to get EARS and wear them around Disneyland all day. I picked sparkly black and red sequined Minnie ears. My friend Jackie agreed they were the most popular ears around the park. Next visit, I want to get a caricature. (I love goal-setting, don't you?)

Spotted ♥ Sprinkles in Beverly Hills
What is better than Sprinkles cupcakes? Sprinkles cupcakes + ice cream
I visited the brand new Sprinkles Ice Cream shop, adjacent to Rodeo Drive and right next door the famous LA cupcake shop! It was absolutely adorable. The shop is pure white with red accents. You get to pick from a huge variety of flavors of ice cream flavors.
The Sprinkles Sundae
♥ One part cupcake
♥ One part ice cream
♥ Total deliciousness!
I had the Sprinkles sundae. I picked the Rocky Road ice cream and the Red Velvet cupcake. The ice cream was super rich and chocolatey. It was super rich, which I’m okay with. So next time, you’re in LA… definitely make a stop!
