We hit up the Yogurt Shack in Tualatin.  Free samples, lots of toppings--everything you come to expect in  your yogurt shoppee.  Nothing too special, but if you're in the area and want some frozen yogurt stop on by.

At the cinema ❤ The best exotic marigold hotel

This movie was not what I expected. Yes, it was a movie about the end stage in life after retirement and the time left to live. But the storyline about the relationships between the "elderly & beautiful" had some surprises. I was one of the youngest people in the theater. The movie definitely had a targeted audience. My mom was actually the one who really wanted to see the movie. (I wanted to see Snow White and the Huntsman, but nobody wanted to go with me.) And my mom loved it! She wanted to be sure I said the movie was good in my review. And it was a good movie with amazing actors. But I would say rent it.  Did you see it?  What did you think?

Spotted ❤ The magical coke machine

I had never seen one of these in person!  I know they have them at Burgerville (but I'm always in the drive-thru) so I was super excited to see the touch screen Coke machine at Fuddruckers.  My favorite thing about these machines is that they have Fanta Zero and Sprite Zero in tons of yummy flavors.  Some of my faves are Sprite Zero Vanilla and Fanta Zero Raspberry. Try it!

 We had a charity auction at work!  It's an annual tradition and this was my first one.  The theme was The Price is Right.  I didn't win anything, but at least all my cash went to charity.

I spent a lovely Saturday with my madre at a tea party social. We made a craft. We had a delicious tea lunch and celebrated the Queen's diamond jubilee. And we got lots of favors!

Sometimes the best thing with movie watching is not having expectations.  I didn't know much about this movie expect the basic premise that the main character (Amanda Seyfried) was kidnapped and the same thing happened to her sister.  I didn't know that the movie was actually based in Portland (hometown shout out), which I loved.  It was fun to see familiar locations in the movie and lots of Portland police cares.  I'm definitely biased because I loved all the Portland stuff, but I thought this movie was great (and so much better than I expected).  Definitely worth the $1.20 from Redbox.

What girl hasn't always dreamed of going to a castle?

I got the chance to tour Windsor Castle--a medieval castle and part time royal residence.  I missed the royal family on my visit, but I still got to experience and tour the castle.
