My lovely hair stylist Yen gave me some birthday feathers. The plumage adds some edge to my hairdo. I love the pop of color. It took me a long time to grow out my hair so it's au naturale. Every time I want to dye it, I remind myself how long it takes to grow out the dye. Feather extensions are a great compromise. They change up your look without the commitment. You can also hide the feathers easily under you hair if you prefer to go without the bold colors for a day. I haven't tried it, but you can also curl the feathers. Yen told me you can even have the extensions moved up at your next haircut.
